RadiophonicaisthefirsttitleinIanBoddyWaveformsseriesof
samplelibraries.Allthesoundswereproducedandrecordeddirectly
fromanaloguehardwaresynthesisers.Nodigitalprocessingother
thanatouchofEQorcompressionwhereappropriatewasused.Any
effectsyouhearsuchasflanging,phasing,reverborechoarefrom
thevariousanaloguecomponentsofthemodularsystemsused.The
intentionwastoprovidealibraryofsoundsthataresynonymous
withthenameoftheRadiophonicWorkshopfromtheirearlyworkon
suchseminalprogramsasDoctorWho.Assuchthesoundsareintended
tohavethatanalogue,organic,retrosci-ficharacterthatmany
findsoappealingaboutthoseearlysynthesisersoundtracks.

TheKontakt2programsareasimpleC0-C6keyspanwithC3asthe
rootkeyandabasicenvelopeandlow-passfilterprovided.The
modulationwheelissettoturnthecut-offofthefilterdownasit
israised.Nootherprogrammingisincludedasthesoundsthemselves
are"finished"anditisintendedtogivethecustomertheflexibi-
lityofaddingtheirowneffectsandmodulationsifdesired.Simply
unzipthedownloadedfileandplacewhereyouwishonyourhard
drive(s).IfyouintendtousetheKontakt2programsthenplease
leavetheinternalfolderstructureintactsothattheinstruments
canfindtherelevantsamples.TheWAVfilesandKontaktpatchesare
prefixedwiththeRPidentifier.
